About HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital
HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital serves Oconto Falls, Wisconsin and surrounding communities as a federally-designated critical access hospital. Founded in 1921 as Community Memorial Hospital, it became HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital in 2015 when it joined Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS). As an affiliate of HSHS, the hospital’s primary purpose is to continue Christ’s healing love through the delivery of competent and compassionate health care in an environment sensitive to the needs of all people.
Patients at HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital benefit from a comprehensive range of services that include a 24-hour physician-staffed emergency department, as well as urgent care, women’s care, cancer care, orthopedics and rehabilitation. It is also the site of HSHS St. Clare Regional Surgery Center, which provides a variety of general and vascular inpatient and outpatient procedures. HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital, in affiliation with Prevea Health, also has five regional health center locations in Gillett, Lena, Mountain, Oconto Falls and Suring.

HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital is operated by Hospital Sisters Health System, based in Springfield, Illinois. It is part of Hospital Sisters Health System – Eastern Wisconsin Division, which also includes HSHS St. Vincent Hospital and HSHS St. Mary's Hospital Medical Center in Green Bay and HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan.
